ISLANDS OF MADAGASCAR
ISLANDS OF MADAGASCAR
Our masterplanning team have been working with several zoo's and wildlife parks over the last few months carefully planning and preparing detailed concepts for a number of projects upcoming.
One of our favourites is our immersive 'Islands of Madagascar' work realising the intricate world of lemurs and their very diverse island habitat. This themed environment will demonstrate not only the inner workings of lemur tribes, it will also engage visitors with village settings that represent the varied climates within which the human inhabitants live.
There will also be in depth consideration to conservational ideals and to ensure that no visitor leaves the zoned area without acknowledging a very Madagascan narrative.
WORK IN PROGRESS
THE POPULATION OF LEMURS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL FIVE HABITATS VIA A NETWORK OF OVERHEAD TUNNELS ENABLING KEEPERS TO EASILY RELOCATE THE TROOPS FOR ADDED ENRICHMENT.
IMMERSIVE MASTERPLANNING
ENTRANCE
Entry into the Madagascan area of this zoo will make an impact on visitors and immerse them in a world in total contrast to the surrounding space.
BESPOKE FABRICATION
To encapsulate the style of remote villages in Madagascar our fabrication team have been detailing and specifying materials robust enough for the UK climate.
FIVE SPECIES HABITAT
There will be five species of Lemur alongside mongoose, tortoises, ducks and a rich tapestry of invertebrate and reptile life from the island including the crowned Safaka.
